It's where they draft all the visuals made at the meetings.
The donation includes nine graph paper notebooks covering a large span of Wright's career,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], including doodles, detailed drawings, and hand-written notes chronicling his creative process for such games as The Sims, SimCopter, SimCity 2000,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and Spore. The notebooks also contain Wright's notes and outlines regarding business matters, as well as the various presentations he's given over the years to explain his game design methods and philosophies.
"Games do not spring out of the minds of game designers full grown, like Athena from the head of Zeus," said ICHEG director Jon-Paul Dyson in a statement. "These papers document the creative process behind some of the most important games of our time. They have transformed our society, and we are pleased to preserve this record of how Wright created them."
For his part,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Wright said he was happy to provide his documents for preservation. "I'm proud to help support the International Center for the History of Electronic Games," he said. "They are preserving an important part of our culture that is frequently overlooked by society yet has a fundamental influence on who we are. I know of no other institution that is covering this topic as comprehensively as they are."
The International Center for the History of Electronic Games is located in Rochester, New York, where it houses over 120 classic arcade machines, every major console made since 1972, over 200 unique handheld games and systems, and over 12,000 individual videogame titles. You can find out more about the ICHEG at its official website.

The International Center for the History of Electronic Games should digitalize these documents and give the world access to them. I live in Brazil and won't ever be able to attend to the Center, but I believe I have the right to study these papers too.

The Strong National Museum of Play has announced that Will Wright, who gamers no doubt know as the creator of such monumental videogame franchises as SimCity, The Sims, and Spore, has donated a large collection of his personal papers and design documents to the museum's International Center for the History of Electronic Games (ICHEG).
